Gloria Luna

Hi!

My name is Gloria Luna.  I have worked in Early Childhood education at La Sierra Academy Children's Center and am now excited to lead out at Mesa Grande Academy Children's Center.

Contributing to a child’s growth, discovery and learning has always been the inspiration behind my journey within education. I have been blessed to have worked with amazing students and families of various ages, cultures and socioeconomic backgrounds. I am excited to continue this work at Mesa Grande Academy Children’s Center.

“Through volunteering in Children’s Ministry, I grew to love the little personalities of the kids and just how they viewed the world. When the opportunity came to work in a classroom, I truly felt the Lord’s calling. I love getting to see their excitement when they achieve something they thought they couldn’t do. A child’s love is so genuine, it’s rewarding to get to work with every day.”

“I chose to teach Early Childhood Education because it is the foundation for all future learning. I am able to assist children to develop emotional, social and cognitive skills in a safe and positive environment. I look forward to working with you as partners in your child’s growth and development!”

“I am happy being a teacher of preschool children, patience and kindness are required to be able to work with them. How could I not love this profession if children have an innocence and purity that inspires me every day to be a better person and to prepare myself to help them in their development and learning. I know that each child is unique and deserves to be respected. I know that respect is based on listening to them and valuing them. Teaching children is a great responsibility and blessing in my life. They are curious and have a great desire to learn and explore. Helping them develop their skills and potential through various activities is my greatest satisfaction.”
